Muhammad Faisal Hasan is a Partner specializing in the intersection of utility-scale power generation and energy market policy. Recognized as a Power Generation and Policy Expert, he advises clients on the regulatory frameworks and technical structures required for sustainable energy infrastructure.Muhammad brings over 15 years of experience to the partnership, with a unique background that spans both public utility operations and international development. He has played a pivotal role in shaping Bangladesh’s power landscape, notably through his work with the USAID-funded BADGE project, where he laid the groundwork for a domestic electricity market and developed policy frameworks for Merchant Power Plants and Corporate PPAs.Concurrently, as an Executive Engineer at the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Muhammad has managed the development of Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects and negotiated critical Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). His expertise extends to cross-border energy trade and renewable integration, backed by a Master’s in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Kyushu University.
