Bony Francis Rozario is the Co-Founder of Terra Synth, bringing over
15
years
of leadership experience in the power, energy, and infrastructure
sectors
across Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, and Australia. An accomplished
electrical engineer and project management professional, he has built a
career at the intersection of project development, public–private
partnerships (PPP), renewable energy, and infrastructure delivery.
Mr. Rozario holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical
&
Electronics Engineering from the American International
University–Bangladesh, where he graduated with Gold and Silver Medals
respectively. He is a Life Member of the Institute of Engineers,
Bangladesh
(IEB) and a certified APMG CP3P (PPP) professional, reflecting his
strong
grounding in structured project finance and PPP frameworks.
Throughout his career, he has been directly involved in the development,
financing, procurement, and implementation of large-scale power and
infrastructure projects, including thermal power plants, renewable
energy
projects (solar, wind, waste-to-power), and utility modernization
initiatives. His experience spans the entire project lifecycle—from
feasibility studies and financial modeling to contract negotiation,
construction oversight, and commercial operation.
Mr. Rozario has led and supported projects funded by international
development partners such as JICA, GIZ, and ADB-linked programs, working
closely with government authorities, utilities, financiers, EPC
contractors,
and advisors. He has played a key role in PPP transactions,
international
competitive bidding (ICB), unsolicited proposals, and complex contract
structures including PPA, EPC, O&M, and implementation agreements.
As Founder & Chairman of Terra Synth, Mr. Rozario provides strategic
vision
and technical leadership, guiding the organization’s mission to deliver
sustainable, bankable, and impact-driven solutions in renewable energy,
infrastructure development, and energy transition. His leadership
philosophy
emphasizes innovation, financial discipline, stakeholder collaboration,
and
long-term sustainability, positioning Terra Synth as a trusted partner
for
governments, investors, and development institutions.
